Under normal operating conditions, tubes Freeland Products, Inc. rebuilds or reprocess are guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for 3,000 hours (prorated 1,000 to 3,000) hours of filament burning time), or one year, whichever occurs first.

Excluded from Warranty Coverage:
Mechanical damage
Damage resulting in improper operating conditions
Open filaments under certain conditions
Cracked ceramic
Glass punctures from cathode rays
Loss of vacuum due to bad contact at any connector or the tube.

Freeland Products, Inc. retains the right to examine defective tubes at our plant without liability for dismantling them, and the option to replace a defective tube or refund money. Freeland Products, Inc. accepts no other responsibility or liability expressed or implied. To consider tubes for warranty adjustment, a properly filled out service report card (enclosed with all tubes at the time of shipment) must be returned with the tube.

Please note: Arc Protection Circuity must be in place and operational or warranty is void. Physical damage or damage from improper operating conditions, such as a faulty magnet, which results in burned drift tube or target and loss of vacuum, are not covered under warranty. Damage resulting from cooling system failure of any description is excluded from warranty coverage.

The internal cavity type is guaranteed against defect in workmanship and materials for 20,000 hours (prorated 1,000 to 20,000 hours) or three years whichever occurs first.

The external cavity type is guaranteed against defect in workmanship and materials for 10,000 hours (prorated 1,000 to 10,000 hours) or three years whichever occurs first.

Freeland Products, Inc. will purchase used klystron type tubes that are suitable for rebuilding. However the tube must still be under vacuum and in good physical condition. Drift tubes must not be melted and none of the ceramic broken. Please contact Freeland Products, Inc. for pricing and delivery instructions.

Under certain conditions, non rebuildable klystrons may be purchased (at a reduced price) when undamaged parts can be salvaged.
